Reveal Your True Inner Beauty

Published by Mimin on May 19, 2012 | Leave a response

It is said that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but in reality, every woman is beautiful. Some women may need a little more help in revealing that beauty, but it is there just waiting to be shown to the world. Cosmetics have little to do with true beauty, although they can certainly enhance natural attributes. Real beauty comes from taking care of yourself properly and using your natural beauty to the best advantage.

True beauty comes from within, so start out by feeding your body properly. Eat a well-balanced diet that includes lots of fruits and vegetables, and limit your portion sizes to make it less likely that you will gain unneeded pounds. Make exercise a part of your daily life too. Not only does exercise help keep your body toned and looking good, but it helps keep your weight under control, enhances your metabolism and energy levels and keeps your cardiovascular system working optimally. Schedule exercise into your routine, otherwise you probably will never get to it. Take a walk after dinner or during your lunch break, or join a formal team or class that meets regularly. Find something you enjoy, so that you are motivated to keep moving.

Make sure you get plenty of shut-eye each night. While you sleep, your body rejuvenates itself, so skimping on sleep makes you look and feel older and less energetic. And let’s not even discuss those telltales bags or dark circles that can form under your eyes to let everyone know that you are not getting enough rest. Strive to get eight hours of sleep each night to look and feel your best.  Read more... (678 words, estimated 2:43 mins reading time)

Reduce and Prevent Wrinkles with Professional Advice.

Published by Mimin on May 16, 2012 | Leave a response

Every day we expose our skin to harmful toxins through the environment both internally and externally. Whether from the exhaust fumes from our cars or industrial pollution, we are in a constant struggle to keep our bodies clean. Even being outside in the sun has detrimental effects on our bodies. Combined with a diet rich in food additives, it is easy to see why we are aging so quickly. Luckily, there are options available to help us reduce the signs of aging. This guide will show you some of the most effective methods of reducing and preventing wrinkles from forming. Use this advice to create a plan that suits your specific needs.

One of the most influential factors that create wrinkles is exposure to harmful UV radiation. Every time you come into direct contact with sunlight, you are creating potential for wrinkles to form. UVA and UVB light damage your DNA; this causes new wrinkles and can even lead to deadly skin cancer in the worst cases. Therefore, your best chance of preventing this from happening is to protect yourself every time you expect to be outdoors for prolonged periods. Be sure to wear clothing that is sure to keep the sun off you, and most importantly use sunscreen. Ensure that the products you use block both UVA and UVB light. This is your best hope for stopping harmful radiation. You should also keep in mind that sun-tanning beds are even worse for your skin than the sun.  Read more... Natural Beauty That Lasts

Published by Mimin on May 13, 2012 | Leave a response

True beauty comes from within, but you certainly want people to notice the reflection on the outside as well. This article provides information to help your exterior looks match your true beauty inside.

Almost everyone has their own individual look, with certain genetic characteristics and other attributes that could be created or emphasized. Your skin is an important feature of your inherited physical appearance. You should do everything possible to keep your skin healthy and well cared for from your earliest years.

Some very lucky ladies have such healthy and beautiful skin that they do not even need to wear makeup. However, most women do wear makeup, at least when they are out in public. You should always look for makeup that does not clog your pores or damage your skin in any way. The best type of makeup for you depends on the type of skin you have. If you have oily skin you should find makeup that is oil free, while dry skin needs a cream based foundation which provides moisture. Even if you do not use makeup every day, you should always use a light moisturizer to keep your skin hydrated and healthy.

Part of the beauty of your skin is the result of a healthy diet. Eating lots of fresh fruit and vegetables provides the vitamins and minerals your skin needs for healthy cell production and replenishment. It may be difficult to consume enough of the right foods each day to meet the needs of your body, so taking a natural vitamin and mineral supplement ensures a good supply of your nutritional requirements.  Read more... Maximize Your Beauty With These Simple Tricks

Published by Mimin on May 10, 2012 | Leave a response

You can maximize your appearance and save money with these easy beauty tips. You do not need to spend a fortune or waste hours at a time to get optimum results. These tricks are quick, easy to use and may save you some money.

Bring attention to your eyes by magnifying your eyelashes. Before applying any make-up, use an eyelash curler to give your eyelashes a sexy curl. Apply several coats of mascara to increase the appearance of length and volume. Avoid spider lashes by applying each coat before the previous coat has dried completely. Next, work on your lower eyelashes. Apply a single coat of mascara and do not attempt to curl your lower lashes.

For a super glamorous look, try applying false lashes. You can find some that are really easy to apply but add a subtle enhancement. Apply eyelash glue to the base of the false lash. Apply to the inner corner of the lash line first, and use a pair of tweezers to keep the lash straight while sticking it to the rest of the lash line.

Use a high-quality moisturizer before applying your foundation. When your skin is properly hydrated, it will absorb less foundation. A moisturized base also prevents make-up from settling into fine lines and wrinkles. Apply foundation with a clean, dry brush. A foundation brush will give you the most natural appearance while wasting very little make-up. Find a good foundation that works best for your skin type. The last step is the application of powder to set your foundation. A good powder will keep your foundation in place while preventing excessive moisture or shine.  Read more... Make Your Own Beauty Aids

Published by Mimin on May 7, 2012 | Leave a response

Many of today’s beauty products are outrageously expensive, but you do not have to spend a lot of money to stay beautiful. There are many everyday items that will help keep you beautiful and you either have them in your house or you can easily purchase them. The following article shares some beauty ideas that will help you keep your beauty while on a budget.

Use honey and yogurt as a facial mask. Yogurt has a lot of lactic acid, an AHA that refines pores, exfoliates the skin and helps stimulate collagen production. Yogurt is not harsh on the skin, and its creamy texture feels great on the face. Honey is a natural humectant that helps keep the skin moisturized and soft. It is also a antimicobial agent and can help treat cuts and minor burns. Like yogurt, honey is also gentle on the skin. Depending on your skin type you can mix these two products together and make a face mask. Put this mixture on your face and leave 10 to 20 minutes and then rinse with warm water. If you have trouble with acne, you can add about five aspirin to the mixture.

Another facial mask you can make at home is a kelp mask. Kelp facials are invigorating and moisturizing. You can find kelp powder at local health food stores or online. You can mix the powder with yogurt or aloe vera gel and put it on your face. Let it sit on your face for 10 to 15 minutes.  Read more... (521 words, estimated 2:05 mins reading time)
